Deer Antlers are made up of 54% percent minerals, 45% percent protein and one percent fat. Deer loose 15 to 30% percent of there body weight during the winter Months. Bucks start growing there antlers in the spring but that is secondary until buck replinish there body resources. We as hunters need to work on our deer herd year around. Do not wait until two weeks before season to start, but if you do let it be the beginning to a year around plan.

TzR bag is rated to last about a Month, Packer bags are rated at six Months and #10 bags or bigger are rated at one year. The ratings are on average about how long the bag will be effective. This all changes given different rain fall saturations amounts or droughts. The more rain you get the better they work the least amount of rain means they will last a lot longer. It is recommended to change out bags once it has reached a full year no matter how big the bag is. Once you hang out a fresh new bag the deer will know right away.

Our favorite size bags are the #10's there reasons are it will last up to a year and on a good rain it can drip from 1 to 3 days. Placement is easy with this size bag and you can use any of the techniques.
