To the folks at Bag-R-Buck,

I would like to tell you my story of my recent hunt utilizing your product. First a little history. A little over a year ago I hung the large bag from a tree branch about 30 to 40 yards from my stand. I have not replaced this bag to date. I only get to deer hunt about four to ten days every year, so my time in the woods in limited. Since I have hung the bag up I have watched a LARGE hole develop underneath the bag. I have also had the opportunity to watch deer come to the bag even though I am not in my stand all that much. On 11-10-2007, opening day for gun season in Kentucky, I was in my stand as the early morning hours led into gray day. Around 8:30 or so I heard what sounded like two squirrels chasing each other. As the noise continued, I began to realize that the noise that was being made just out of my sight was not being made my any squirrel (or any 100 squirrels for that matter!). My initial thought, after I heard the unmistakable sound of deer horns banging, was that it was two bucks that were fighting. I later figured out that it was one buck making a vicious rub. This carried on for about 30 to 45 seconds straight. As soon as the racket was over I heard a deer blow as if he was out of breath. The thought that began to go through my head was that these two deer could go any direction from where they are and I may not even get a look at them, much less a shot. I would say that about 5 minutes went by when I saw him coming my direction. I didn't see the horns at first, but I knew it was a buck based on the way he was moving and his body size. The deer got behind some trees which allowed me to see him, but not get a shot. As the deer, while standing still, raised and lowered his head I easily decided that I was going to take this deer. The deer stayed behind that tree for a few seconds and then he stepped out. He gave me a perfect broadside shot and down he went. The point of this story is this. I didn't realize it at the time, do to my excitement, but the reason the deer came the direction that he did and stopped behind those trees for a few seconds is because he was checking the bag-r-buck!!! That deer new that was there and came to it even though there were hot does in the area and this buck was in the rut pretty good. I found where the deer was standing when I shot him and he was within 3 feet of the hole that has developed from all the activity. The Bag-r-Buck has allowed me to take my largest buck to date. Although my deer is not a record book deer, analyzing this hunting experience has made me realize that I will always have a Bag-R-Buck hanging near by every time I enter the woods. If you guys would like pictures of my buck let me know and I will try to get them to you. He is an 8 pointer with a 16 1/2 outside spread. His G2's are about 9 inches or so and he is perfectly symmetrical.
